CRAFT beer barons Matt Hepburn and Christen McGarry are all but ready to open their new brewing home to customers who have made their dreams come true.
Your Mates Brewery has closed its Moffat Beach base ahead of the unveiling of a new offering that will increase production capacity 10-fold.
Mr Hepburn said the Technology Drive brewery in Warana would also have a 200sqm entertaining area with a full kitchen, 12 beers on tap, a playground and pool table.
"She's a pretty sexy venue and I'm excited to show it off to the Sunshine Coast,” Mr Hepburn said.
"I think it's something the Sunshine Coast hasn't seen before.”
The kitchen will offer bar snacks that pair with a variety of craft beers.
For example, Mr Hepburn said pale ale Larry went well with prawns and his smoked dark ale went well with fresh oysters.
The brewery has offered its product through previous homes in Nambour and Moffat Beach before reaching Warana.
Mr Hepburn said silent investors had made the latest move possible.
He said an appearance on television show Shark Tank earlier this year had been beneficial despite not landing a backer.
"It's given us a really big confidence boost.”
He said it had given them exposure into Sydney and Melbourne.
"Other breweries have heard about us.”
Mr Hepburn said the new venue would open as soon as its liquor licence was approved.
