Sunshine Coast Business Awards 2022 announces Travis Schultz & Partners as winner for annual event

Beating more than 130 finalists, a rapidly-growing law firm has been crowned the top business in the region this year. See the full list of winners.

A Sunshine Coast leading law firm took out the top prize at the Sunshine Coast Business Awards 2022 on Saturday night, beating 132 finalists at the 27th annual event.

Travis Schultz & Partners in the heart of Mooloolaba was crowned with the award, Sunshine Coast 2022 Business of the Year, and also won the top Professional Service in the large category for the third time in a row.

The compensation law firm, led by Travis Schultz, was founded and headquartered in the region in April, 2018, with a modest team of five, but has since expanded to 40 people with offices in Cairns, Brisbane, and Gold Coast.

The award-winning law firm was among 32 winners across 17 categories, all celebrated by a crowd of 855 attendees.

Sunshine Coast Business Awards chair Jennifer Swaine said the popular annual event was “very special” and showcased world class talent dotted around the region.

There were 132 finalists this year from 188 entries.

Mrs Swaine said the entries were of a “very high” calibre, which reflected the diversity, depth and strength of the local business community, especially in the face of hard economic times.

Mrs Swaine said three businesses were inducted into the The 2022 Sunshine Coast Business Awards Hall of Fame, having won their respective categories for three consecutive years.
