A rideshare company has launched its new delivery service on the Sunshine Coast to help drivers earn more and give residents a way to send and receive parcels.
The Coast is one of six cities to now have DiDi Delivery offering instant quotes, contactless kerbside delivery and live parcel tracking.
Fares start at $6.80 for delivery of items across town.

The service has been used to deliver gifts and personal items such as mobile phones and tools and for purchases made on Facebook Marketplace and Gumtree.
DiDi driver and Sippy Downs resident Emanual Stefas said the launch would provide him with more work opportunities.
"Which is great given how the past year has been," he said.
"Delivery of items has become very popular.
"I always enjoy seeing people across the community and am happy to provide this quick and easy service."
DiDi Australia general manager Lyn Ma said the service had increased in demand since it launched last year.
"From helping Australians stay connected and surprise loved ones with gifts, to supporting local businesses with a new delivery option, DiDi Delivery has seen instant popularity since launching in pilot cities," Mr Ma said.
"DiDi Delivery is also supporting our driver-partners with an additional income earning opportunity.
"Our data shows that the peak times for delivery occur during low-peak hours for
ridesharing, allowing drivers using the DiDi platform a more consistent supply of trips."
DiDi Delivery is now available in Newcastle, Sunshine Coast, Cairns, Toowoomba, Adelaide
and Canberra, in addition to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Gold Coast and Geelong.
