Owners Melissa and Linh Nguyen said the absence of homemade Vietnamese flavours in restaurants around the region prompted them to start their own.
“When we first came to the Sunny Coast, we couldn’t find a lot of Vietnamese restaurants around,” Linh said.
“Every time we craved some authentic flavours we had to go to Brisbane, but it’s too far for us and we really missed our food.”
The pair share use cooking of recipes from different parts of the country.
Being from the south, Melissa oversees the chicken and pho while Linh’s signature dish are skewers from the north.
“We bring it straight from our kitchen into the business,” Melissa said.
“It’s just a home recipe. My grandma taught me everything.”
