One of the Coast's fastest-growing suburbs will soon have access to a brew or two as a popular venue confirms its expansion plans.

Brouhaha will open a new site in Aura Business Park, just five years after cracking open the first cold one at their Maleny brewery.

Sunshine Coast residents Matt Jancauskas, Julian Leigh, Jeff Bess and Dave Lough established the popular brewery in 2016.

The expansion is set to quadruple beer production and offer an entirely different brewery experience for patrons.

The new brewery will be housed in a custom-designed building currently under construction at Bells Creek with a state-of-the-art brew kit that will cater for the growing demand for Brouhaha's premium beverages well into the future.

A two-storey custom tap room will offer a new experience for customers who can enjoy their favourite beverage "straight from the tanks".

Brouhaha director and chief executive Matt Jancauskas said the independent brewery had received enormous local support since its first day and now was the right time to expand.

"The second brewery will be a game-changer for us at Brouhaha," he said.

"It's a really exciting time for the craft beer industry in Queensland and we're proud to be helping put the Sunshine Coast on the map mixing it with the best across Australia."

"Our Maleny brewery will always be where we started and we will continue producing the broad and seasonal beer varieties that complement our restaurant and people who come in looking to sample and explore quality new craft beer varieties."

With production increasing across both sites, Brouhaha will be offering more people the opportunity to join the industry.

"From later this year, we'll quadruple the number of immediate staff in the production space," he said.

"With that will come career development and training opportunities and this is something that we are really proud and passionate about."

The new Brouhaha brewery is due for completion in September with the first beers to be poured at an opening in November.
