CREDITORS have met for the first time after administrators were appointed to major Coast building firm RGD Group.
Administrator John Park said an overview of discoveries and a timetable for the rest of the administration was laid out to RGD Group Pty Ltd and RGD Constructions Pty Ltd creditors yesterday.
Mr Park said "a number of creditors" had attended Wednesday's meeting, which was held virtually due to the coronavirus restrictions.
He said investigations would continue into the two companies, with a report to come set to recommend the "best option available to maximise the prospects of a return for creditors".
The second creditors meeting was scheduled for June 12.
A Queensland Building and Construction Commission spokesman said it was still investigating the companies.
Housing and Public Works Minister Mick de Brenni said he'd been advised "key persons of influence in this case are currently the subject of a QBCC exclusion investigation".
