Brisbane property group to open Coast office

Award-winning property group expands to Maroochydore CBD site

MOSAIC Property Group is offering a sneak peek of its new Sunshine Coast office at a special VIP event planned for next week.

The event, to be held on Thursday, October 12, for local dignitaries, key consultants and community members, will herald a new era for the Brisbane-based company.

The street-front office, established on a former post office site in Duporth Avenue at Maroochydore, will be the nerve centre for the multi-award-winning Mosaic Property Group as it expands its presence in the booming region.

"The Sunshine Coast office further confirms our presence and dedication to the Sunshine Coast community," said Mosaic Property Group managing director Brook Monahan.

"The office fits with the defined vision we have for the Sunshine Coast, because we really believe in the future of this region.

"We also believe in the importance of being a part of the community and there's no better way of doing that than putting ourselves directly on the street-front."

The office will initially be home to about 12 full-time team members, including staff from sales, construction, contract administration, property management and interior design.

The office features a high-end display suite for potential buyers to get a taste of the level of luxury, quality and finishes used across Mosaic's developments.

Mosaic previously had a smaller presence on the Sunshine Coast for many years. Its two founding directors Brook Monahan and Dave Handley continue to live and raise families there.

Both will be spending some time in the new Sunshine Coast office now that it's up and running.

Mosaic, which is head-quartered in Brisbane, has over $175million worth of development projects either under way or planned for the Sunshine Coast over the next few years, with plans to expand even further into the region.

The move not only brings greater efficiencies to Mosaic's operations but it also pays respect to the Sunshine Coast's growing economic base.

Mosaic has successfully launched two new luxury Sunshine Coast projects over the past six months, both of them at the highly popular Kings Beach.

Mosaic's proposed development pipeline is expected to create 635 direct and indirect full-time equivalent jobs in the region.

This includes almost 400 on the Sunshine Coast, generating $33-million in wages and salaries for local workers, and providing a $200 million boost to Queensland's construction industry.
