A Caloundra mum-of-five charged with trafficking dangerous drugs has had her bail varied as she awaits her matters being passed up to the Supreme Court.

Brooke Philana Hales, 43, faces two counts of trafficking methamphetamine between December 1, 2021, and May 19, 2022.

The court heard Hales, who lives at Little Mountain, was facing a committal mention on July 29 where a full brief of evidence was required.

“These are serious matters and are going to the Supreme Court,” Magistrate Haydn Stjernqvist said.

Ms Hales asked Magistrate Stjernqvist to vary her bail by changing her curfew hours.

The 43-year-old mum was originally put on a curfew that she remain at her address between 8pm and 6am.

Ms Hales told the court she had five children and needed the extra time in the morning and at night for sports matches and shopping.

Mr Stjernqvist changed the hours that she must be at home to between 9pm and 5am.

Ms Hales was also put on a bail condition where she must only have one mobile phone.

She will face court again on July 29, 2022.
