PUT your trivia knowledge to the test and help raise funds for less fortunate kids in the foster system.
Maroochydore residents will be able to flex their brain muscles and change children's lives at the upcoming Pyjama Foundation's trivia night.
Sunshine Coast coordinator Kate Morris said she believed in the power of our close knit community to support foster kids.
Although it can "take a whole village to raise a child”, Mrs Morris said "kids just need that one person who shows them that they're worth worrying about and they are worth something”.
"That can change their whole outlook on life,” she said.
Pyjama Angel Nikkii Joyce said it's up to the whole community to make a difference.
"I believe our children in care are the biggest social responsibility we have and every one of us can change it or have an impact.”
Ms Joyce reads to one of her Pyjama kids and said she couldn't believe the effect it had on him.
"I didn't think one or two hours could really contribute to anything, but it does ... it's changed this little guy's life.”
The Pyjama Foundation's Battle of the Brains Trivia Night is on March 29 from 6pm-9pm at the Maroochydore RSL.
Attendees are encouraged to wear their favourite pyjamas or onesies on the night.
