Some roads remain closed across the Sunshine Coast as residents prepare for more rain across the region in coming days.

The driver of a small sedan also experienced some grief this morning when they tried to cross a flooded road in Bli Bli.

A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said two crews were called to the scene at 6.50am this morning.

The spokeswoman said the occupant was out of the small white sedan and safe with no swift water rescue required.

They reminded drivers not to enter floodwater, even if it looked shallow.

The Bureau Of Meteorology has forecast low to moderate rainfall over the next few days, with hazardous surf conditions for today and Wednesday.

Some low-lying roads are once again experiencing minor flooding.

The Sunshine Coast was hit with about 140mm of rain in 24 hours over the weekend, leaving catchments overflowing.

The SES received 24 calls for help on the Sunshine Coast and 15 in Noosa with a swift water rescue conducted in Doonan.

The Bureau of Meteorology issued a minor flood warning for the Noosa River and a flood warning for the Maroochy and Mooloolah Rivers and Coochin Creek at 1.15pm on Saturday.

It said there was minor flooding possible at Tewantin on high tides over the next few days.

“Moderate to heavy rainfall has been recorded in the Noosa and Maroochy River catchments in the last few days, which has caused significant river and creek level rises across the catchments,” it said.
