Best tattoo artist Sunshine Coast: Last chance to vote for favourite tattooist

Just a handful of votes separate the tattoo artist in the lead from others battling it out to be named the Sunshine Coast’s best but there’s still time to have your say. VOTE NOW

A popular tattoo artist is in the lead to be crowned the Sunshine Coast’s best with just two days left for readers to have their say.

The Sunshine Coast Daily put a call out on its Facebook page to find the region’s best tattoo artist and was inundated with nominations.

A whopping 47 artists were listed as finalists, from apprentices just starting out to veterans of the business.

Voting opened on Friday and Michael Rhind of White Tiger Tattoo Co has taken the lead as of Tuesday afternoon.

The Noosa studio has an impressive 13,500 followers on Instagram and Mr Rhind has just over 3000 followers on his own Instagram.

Lance Simpson of Old Church Tattoo in Wurtulla and Kelara Roberts of Forever Inked Tattoo in Mountain Creek round out the top three.

The vote count is tight and there's still time for you to have your say. Voting will close at 8am Thursday. Head here to vote.
