Airport flights from Sydney cancelled into and out of Sunshine Coast
Jetstar and Virgin flights between Sydney and Sunshine Coast Airport have been cancelled in the wake of a growing Covid-19 cluster in Bondi that increased by 22 cases overnight.

Flights are being cancelled between the Coast and Sydney as NSW struggles to contain a Covid-19 outbreak.
According to Sunshine Coast Airport’s website, a Jetstar flight from Sydney that was due to land at 2.10pm has been cancelled, along with a 6.45pm Virgin Australia flight.
A further two flights on the same services that were due to leave Sunshine Coast Airport on Friday have been cancelled.
The airport has a further 12 flights due to land from Sydney over the weekend.
It comes after the Sydney cluster increased by 22 overnight on Thursday which prompted a travel warning from authorities.
The total number of cases linked to the Bondi cluster now sits at 65.
Queensland’s chief health officer Dr Jeannette Young said those with travel plans in NSW should consider cancelling and looking for alternative options in the Sunshine State.
