70+ photos: All the arrivals at Noosa District State High School formal 2025
No efforts were spared to make the Noosa District State High School formal the night of nights for their Year 12 students, with one student marking the occasion with a helicopter arrival.
Soon-to-be graduates of Noosa District State High School were dressed to impress in order to make their grand entrance to their formal.
Students arrived in vintage, sleek cars and even a helicopter to campus grounds on Thursday evening while adorned in glamorous ensembles.
Clancy and Alison Lindsay arrived in the helicopter on school grounds.
Ms Lindsay said she had hoped her formal to be as memorable as possible, and she deemed a helicopter arrival the perfect way to make it unforgettable.
“Even though I’ve grown up around helicopters, this was different - I was nervous and a little anxious, the whole experience was surreal,” she said.
“Looking back, those nerves just added to the moment - it’s something I’ll never forget.”
She thanked the high school and McDermott Aviation for the memorable experience.
