State Government Minister Mark Bailey supports Jackie Trad
A senior Palaszczuk Government minister has thrown his support behind embattled Deputy Premier Jackie Trad, saying he has ‘absolute faith in her integrity’.

SENIOR Left Minister Mark Bailey says Jackie Trad has his “full support” to remain Deputy Premier amid Opposition calls for her head over the widening integrity saga besetting her.
“I have known Jackie Trad for over 25 years. I have absolute faith in her integrity,” Mr Bailey said this morning.
“Jackie Trad is one of the most hardworking, effective people in this government. She has my absolute support.”
Ms Trad is currently in London as part of a post-Budget investment roadshow.
She is due in Paris tomorrow before flying to New York on Wednesday for the final leg of the trip.
The Crime and Corruption Commission is assessing referrals made to it by the LNP and Ms Trad herself over the contentious purchase of a Woolloongabba investment home expected to reap rewards from the Cross River Rail project.
Ms Trad has stood aside from handling CRR while the CCC does its work with Mr Bailey taking over the role in the interim.
