Former deputy premier Jackie Trad deserves a gong for some epic trolling she was doing in State Parliament this week.
On several occasions Trad was spotted in one of the minister’s chairs in the stripped-back State Parliament hearings, where MP numbers were capped.

She even gave her reply speech to the pseudo-budget Bill from her Treasury successor Cameron Dick’s chair.
We’re not sure whether Trad was trolling the Opposition or her own side, but it was something.

George Street Confidential has heard rumours of a swap deal being negotiated between the Cross River Rail Delivery Authority and Griffith University.
Apparently, the uni would get the tower above the new Roma St station and the Government would get the Mount Gravatt campus to use as a location to film movies.
It sounds like a neat little arrangement.
Let’s hope it works out better than Screen Queensland’s $12 million Hemmant digs, which because of a midge problem and lack of airconditioning, some studios have abandoned.
Top-secret launch
Someone at least trying to be a bit more inconspicuous these days is Member for Southport Rob Molhoek.
The LNP member, who has proven pretty handy himself at courting controversy over the years, is holding his campaign launch at 6pm next Wednesday.
However, Molhoek isn’t telling potential guest the venue, with the invitation stamped “top secret”.
We’re confident nothing untoward is planned, and appropriate social distancing will be observed.
News spreads slowly
Meanwhile, one of Cameron Dick’s spinners couldn’t socially distance himself from Member for Ipswich West Jim Madden fast enough this week. Madden, the born-again Left faction MP who champions coal (weird, right?), was spied asking Dick’s man the whereabouts of David Barbagello. It was news to Madden that Barbagello had left his chief-of-staff job in Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk’s office a year ago.
