A man who police alleged attempted to murder a person has had his charges dropped.
Andre James Star faced three charges, which have now all been dropped, including unlawful wounding, attempted murder and threatening violence, and was not required to appear in person when his matter was mentioned in Warwick Magistrates Court on August 23.
Mr Star, from Texas, was alleged to have attacked a 45-year-old man with a crowbar following an altercation at an Inglewood-Texas Rd address in 2021.
On Wednesday Mr Star’s lawyer, Matthew McCarthy told the court the three charges the man faces would be discontinued.
