This weekend in the Granite Belt and Southern Downs there are plenty of activities to keep the whole family entertained, as school holidays come to a close.

Whether you want to enjoy a Christmas in July lunch celebrating the holiday festivities, try you hand at knitting or give yoga a go, the possibilities are endless.

Market in the Mountains

Make the most of your Sunday morning at the markets and enjoy the handiwork of local artisans, makers, bakers and growers.

Pick up a beanie, some biscuits, a new piece of jewellery or any of the other pieces made locally and support the community.

Christmas in July lunch

Enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner next to a warm cosy fire in the Granite Belt.

Listen to Christmas carols and sing along to the classic Jingle Bells as you enjoy the holiday spirit.

There’s even a Christmas movie on the big screen while you eat.

Art exhibition

Join the Stanthorpe Regional Art Gallery and be immersed in two exhibitions: Pathways and Flights of Fancy.

Pathways showcases the journey of human life from birth until death.

Flights of Fancy is a combination of painting and ceramic objects and encourages the viewer to make their own stories from what they can see.

Sunset picnic session

Kick back and relax for an afternoon sitting on a bean bag enjoying some wine and food as you watch the sunset.

There’s even a bonfire to sit around and enjoy the day with friends and family.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic, games, or portable barbecue.

Wine tasting available and wine and soft drinks will be available to purchase.

Yoga

This beginners yoga session will allow you relieve all your stresses in a relaxed environment.

Ladies day

The Warwick Cowboys are hosting their annual Ladies day, with live entertainment from Vanessa Miller Music.

Kick back and enjoy a glass or two as you watch the Warwick Cowboys take on the Toowoomba Valleys followed by the ladies game.

All bookings include a ticket in the lucky door prize, a complimentary drink on arrival, nibbles and a stubby cooler.
