Staff sacked from Kimberley College await unfair dismissal judgment
Three people who were sacked from Kimberley College - which was also rocked by allegations of financial mismanagement - have had their unfair dismissal case heard in court.

THREE people who were sacked from a controversial private school that was rocked by allegations of financial mismanagement are awaiting the outcome of their unfair dismissal judgment.
Jennifer Thomson and Amy and Kevin Ferguson were sacked from Kimberley College in June last year.

Headmaster and three family members sacked
Former principal Paul Thomson was also sacked in June.
It came after The Courier-Mail revealed serious concerns about the school’s finances and allegations of nepotism.
Unfair dismissal applications for Jennifer, Amy and Kevin were filed with the Fair Work Commission on July 2, 2018.
The matters then proceeded to hearing, which were heard together on March 18 and 19 this year.
They are now awaiting a decision however a date has not been set.
Meanwhile Mr Thomson, who had long been an outspoken educator, lodged an application for “breach of general protections” in August last year.
The matter has since proceeded to the Federal Circuit Court.
