Springfield crash: Man critical after serious single-vehicle rollover
A young man is fighting for life after being freed from his car after it rolled close to a busy intersection southwest of Brisbane.

A man has been rushed to hospital with critical head injuries after his vehicle rolled at a busy intersection southwest of Brisbane on Saturday morning.
Emergency services were called to Springfield Parkway near the Springfield Fair Shopping Centre at 6.20am after a young man became trapped when his car rolled.
Crews from the Queensland Fire Department were forced to cut part of the roof off of the car to free the man where he was then assessed by paramedics.
He was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital with life-threatening head injuries.
Police have closed the roundabout at Old Logan Rd and Nev Smith Dr, with diversions in place, however motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
Meanwhile, another man in his 20s suffered life-threatening arm injuries after crashing his car into a pole at Yatala at 6.50am.
He was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital and police have closed Elderslie Rd between Standmore Rd and Hovey Rd.
