Halloween or Hallowe‘en is a celebration observed in many countries on October 31, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows’ Day.
It begins the observance of Allhallowtide, the time in the liturgical year dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints, martyrs, and all the faithful departed.
For a bit of fun this year, the South Burnett Times did a callout for readers to share their Halloween costumes, and there were some impressive efforts.
