NANANGO Races went off without a hitch; despite the wet weather.

With many Queensland races being cancelled the races were brought forward.

The first race of the years first race meet kicked off nice and early at 1.10pm.

The crowds were mostly unaffected by the weather with adequate undercover seating available.

Attendees still dressed up in the summer theme as they sat back and enjoyed the races.

The fifth and last race was affected by the weather and shortened to 1570 metres.
