Proston man, 50s, tragically killed in horror crash on Wondai Proston Road

The forensic crash unit is investigating after a man in his 50s was killed in a single-car crash in the South Burnett on Sunday.

A South Burnett has tragically died after his car slammed into a tree in Proston on Sunday afternoon.

Early investigations indicate the man’s Holden Commodore veered off Wondai Proston Road before colliding with a tree, Queensland Police Service reported.

Emergency services arrived on scene just before 2pm.

The driver, a man in his 50s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is working to determine the cause of the crash.
