The Blackbutt township could be getting more than 60 new homes if multiple proposals submitted to council get the green light.
Two development applications proposing significant subdivisions have been submitted to the South Burnett Regional Council and are currently awaiting more information from the applicants.
One development proposed subdividing a property on the D’Aguilar Highway into 43 new lots.
A second development has proposed subdividing 162 Bowman Road, Blackbutt North into 18 new lots.
If both proposals are approved and end up being developed, this would significantly increase the number of residential homes available in the Blackbutt region.
