Police search for driver after Kingaroy hit and run

POLICE are searching for a driver after a pedestrian was struck late last night in Kingaroy.

UPDATE 12PM:

ACCORDING to a QPS spokesperson, police are still searching for the driver of a car involved in a hit and run last night.

The victim has been identified as a man in his 40s.

EARLIER 7.50AM: 

A KINGAROY man is suffering from suspected spinal injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Youngman Street at 10.44pm last night.

According to a Queensland Police Service (QPS) spokesperson, he was transported to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition with non life-threatening injuries.

Police are currently investigating the incident.
