A South Burnett farmer has fronted court on a string of 17 fresh charges, including deprivation of liberty and procuring prostitution.

Wayne Robert Green, 51, was charged by police on December 20 with the 17 additional charges, which include seven counts of observation or recording in breach of privacy, three counts of procuring prostitution, deprivation of liberty, and six other offences.

The Mondure farmer is also facing charges from December of possessing dangerous drugs, failing to secure weapons and not having authority to possess explosives.

Magistrate Andrew Sinclair this week adjourned the matter until February 14 in Murgon Magistrates Court to align his new charges with the three existing Magistrates Court matters.

The court was told the man also has ongoing matters in the District Court.

The 51-year-old is currently on bail.

Mr Green did not appear in person in Murgon Magistrates Court this week, with lawyer Tom Carr appearing on his behalf.
