Two charged after search warrant finds $150K of drugs at Nanango property

Two locals will face court after a search warrant uncovered an estimated $150,000 worth of cannabis at a Nanango property.

Two will face court next month following a drug raid at a Nanango property after a search warrant uncovered 3kg worth of cannabis with an estimated street value of $150 000.

The search warrant was conducted by Kingaroy Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) and Nanango police on Wednesday morning (May 26).

The cannabis was found stored in vacuum-sealed bags, along with drug utensils and a push knife.

A 51-year-old Nanango man was charged with possessing the knife (a category M weapon), possessing drug utensils, and cannabis possession.

A 62-year-old woman at the property has also been charged with cannabis possession.

Both will face Nanango Magistrates Court on June 17.
