Police are now on the hunt after a shocking spate of thefts across the South Burnett, with one daredevil thief climbing a two-storey building to steal a television.
The offender climbed the front face of a house on Cobbo Street in Cherbourg, where he was able to find his way inside the home through a window.
It is believed the offence occurred between 8pm Saturday and 7.30am Sunday.
Police say the offender made off with a television and alcohol.
Earlier that same day, a woman showed up to a Bulgi Street house in Cherbourg and tore her way inside through a front screen door.
While inside she ransacked the bedroom and kitchen before reportedly fleeing the scene without taking anything.
Several separate thefts have been reported across the region, with a woman targeting two Murgon businesses on May 10, where she stole makeup, glue and clothing. A 33-year-old woman reported her phone as stolen after a family gathering on Saturday night.
All the matters are under investigation and no charges have yet been laid.
These offences are the latest in a string of break-ins and robberies across the South Burnett region, with several businesses hit across Kingaroy and Wondai in recent weeks.
