Police confiscate hash stash hiding in Kingaroy man’s underpants

A Kingaroy man’s ballsy attempt at stowing away his weed stash has earned him a court date.

Australia's cocaine crisis

Police were confronted with an unusual hash stashing attempt after locating the illegal drug in a Kingaroy man’s underpants.

At 4.50pm on Saturday, June 19, police intercepted a Kingaroy man driving a Holden sedan on Haly Street.

A subsequent search of the 24-year-old’s clothing allegedly located a small amount of cannabis hiding in his underwear and a set of scales in his jumper pocket.

The ballsy move scored the young man a date before the Kingaroy Magistrates Court, where he’s due to appear on July 19 charged with the alleged possession of dangerous drugs and drug utensils.
