Police are calling for public help as they investigate a vehicle that was found torched only hours after it was stolen.

Police are calling for public help as they investigate a vehicle that was torched in the centre of Cherbourg on Saturday.
Emergency responders were called to Broadway St in the South Burnett town about 2.30am.
They found the vehicle, a Subaru Forester, alight on the road and were forced to extinguish it.
Police said in a statement Monday the SUV was stolen from a Douglas St property sometime overnight between Friday, December 6, and Saturday, December 7.
Officers said the SUV was believed to be travelling with a blue Kia Stonic, which was stolen from a Philps St address the same evening.
The Kia was found damaged on old Wondai Rd about 1am Saturday, December, about 90 minutes before emergency crews were called to the burning Subaru.
On Monday police called for anyone with CCTV footage or information related to the fire or thefts to contact police.
Investigations are ongoing.
