Detectives are on the hunt for offenders following a string of break-ins across the North Burnett region, which left multiple business and properties damaged in just matter of hours.
Five properties across the region were targeted, starting with a garage in Eidsvold, which was broken into at about 10pm on Sunday night.
The group then entered a car and were reportedly spotted driving toward Monto, where it’s alleged four business were targeted in the early hours of Monday.
It’s believed the offenders attempted to break into the Duck Inn Store on Cunningham Street at about 1am by smashing a glass door.
A Puma petrol station and Foodworks grocery store were also allegedly targeted during the night, with a second door smashed and lollies stolen.
A Queensland Police spokeswoman said the group were reportedly seen heading north out of Monto in a Toyota Landcruiser.
No one has yet been charged.
