Minibus and car crash sparks after-school traffic chaos near Nanango school
Three have been assessed for injuries after a minibus and car collided near Nanango State School, disrupting traffic during afternoon pick-up.
A South Burnett crash involving a minibus has caused traffic chaos during school pick-up.
Emergency services responded to reports of a collision on Drayton Street, at the intersection with George Street, next to Nanango State School shortly before 3pm Monday.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said the crash involved a white 12-seater “minibus” and a white hatchback, with three occupants being assessed with “possible minor injuries” by paramedics as of about 3.15pm.
It appeared the MG hatchback had rear-ended the minibus next to Sandy Creek bridge, disrupting traffic to and from the school.
There were no entrapments or major injuries reported, and everyone was accounted for and in a stable condition, the spokeswoman said.
Police remained on scene to redirect traffic as of 3.30pm.
Investigations are ongoing.
