A young man has been freed from the wreckage of his car on the Burnett Hwy and airlifted to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital after a mid-morning rollover between Goomeri and Nanango.
The man aged in his 20s was airlifted in a stable condition with head injuries.
The crash was the last in a string of horrific and deadly incidents in the Burnett region that have left four people dead, including a 16-year-old girl on Tuesday night, and three young women from the North Burnett on May 26.
In addition, a 26-year-old Gympie man was booked doing almost 200km/hour on the Burnett Highway near Tansey on May 28.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene on Wednesday morning near the intersection of the highway and Silver Perch Rd, 25km south of Goomeri, shortly before 10.30am.
Fireys cut the roof off the car to free the man, who was the driver of the car, before he was treated by paramedics then put on the copper.
