Man flown to hospital after crashing quad bike and becoming trapped

A young man mustering cattle in the South Burnett on Monday became trapped under his crashed vehicle and had to be airlifted to hospital.

A man in his 20s was flown to Sunshine Coast University Hospital on Monday after rolling a quad bike on a private property while mustering cattle at Durong.

Emergency services were called to the South Burnett property after the man crashed the four wheel bike in a creek bank just after 11am.

It was reported he was mustering cattle when the bike rolled and his leg became trapped under the bullbar.

Paramedics and firefighters worked together to free him.

He was later flown to SCUH by LifeFlight in a stable condition with a leg injury.
