Mrs Green began teaching yoga, boxing and bootcamp classes from a park, then a shed in late 2021 and has spent the past 18 months working to open a more properly equipped and larger studio for fitness enthusiasts to enjoy.

The 42 year old said her passion for fitness began while she was working at a bank where she wasn’t happy with her body and was encouraged by a friend to try out the gym.

“I was a bigger girl and I’d never been to the gym or grown up in a fitness environment, once I started going I loved it and dropped the weight,” Mrs Green said.

“I decided I want to help others move their body better, achieve their goals and fall in love with doing it.”

Mrs Green said starting a business was extremely daunting and a “sink or swim” moment and with the lack of Nanango rentals.

“I began teaching from a little shed with about 10 people attending my classes,” Mrs Green said.

“Towards end of last year I realised I needed more space to accommodate everyone as my numbers had grown and it was become squishy.

“I saved until I could afford a bigger and brighter space, I now have over 40 regular members.”

The classes are the first of their kind available at Nanango for clients to join dance fit, Tabata, yoga, cardio, high and low impact classes, inside and outside.

Mrs Green said classes were suitable for all abilities and ages.

“I couldn’t have asked for better group of people to join me on my business journey where everyone cheers each other on,” she said.
