A Kingaroy man will face court after he allegedly threatened to headbutt staff over a price dispute at a local business last week.

The 45-year-old allegedly told staff he was going to assault them before leaving the shop, with police later tracking him down and charging him with a public nuisance offence.

Kingaroy officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant David Tierney said the man is due to front Kingaroy Magistrates Court on March 31.

Gayndah Police were stunned last week when they pulled over a 66-year-old driver they say had been travelling North Burnett roads for more than 30 years without a licence.

Police say the man had been disqualified from driving back in 1988 for drink driving, and despite being busted in 2004 for disqualified driving, still failed to renew his licence for another 18 years.

The man will face Gayndah Magistrates Court on April 8.

Gayndah Police were tracking a stolen car and wallet that had been taken from Riverview Caravan Park and driven to Maryborough on Sunday, where the unknown offenders used the alleged victim’s debit card.

The car, which evaded police in Maryborough, was found tucked away between carriages at Gayndah’s Railway museum on Wednesday morning and investigations are continuing.

A 37-year-old Kingaroy woman will face court on March 31 for drink driving after she was pulled over on Premier Drive with an alleged blood-alcohol reading of 0.124 at the weekend.

That same day, a search warrant allegedly uncovered marijuana and drug utensils at a Crawford Street home, with a 22-year-old man due to face Kingaroy Magistrates Court on April 4 charged with producing and possessing dangerous drugs, as well as possessing drug utensils and property used in the commission of a drug related offence.

Kingaroy Police are also searching for a Dragon GTS electric scooter stolen from a Railway Terrace front yard on Sunday.
