A man was taken to hospital with head and eye injuries after a shocking collision on Youngman Street outside Kingaroy Shoppingworld and KFC.

A man was hospitalised with serious head and eye injuries after a shocking collision outside Kingaroy KFC this afternoon.
About 3.10pm a white Holden Commodore and a silver Hyundai 4x4 collided on Youngmans Street, near Kingaroy Shoppingworld.
The commodore came to a rest after hitting a set of traffic lights.
A young man in the Holden suffered injuries to the side of his head and eye, with paramedics transporting him to hospital.
The young man's partner, who was in the car at the time, accompanied him to hospital.
Firefighters started to clear the road shortly after, brushing up broken glass and spraying the road.
Kingaroy resident Damion Ward who witnessed the crash, said a pedestrian was nearly injured in the commotion but was luckily dragged back and saved by a nearby pedestrian.
