UPDATE: Fire crews remain on scene at a house fire in Kingaroy, just days before Christmas.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services were called to the serious blaze just before 2pm.
Ambulance officers also attended and assessed four occupants, who did not require treatment.
A QFES spokesman confirmed crews were initially told the roof of the single story building was on fire, and found it “well involved”.
The fire was brought under control at 2.20pm and crews are continuing to dampen hotspots.
Police also attended to help direct traffic.
EARLIER: Fire crews have rushed to a Kingaroy home after reports of a “well-involved” blaze.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman confirmed crews rushed the River Rd property just before 2pm.
Two crews are currently on scene, with the single-story house significantly alight when fireys arrived.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus have entered the home, and the fire has been brought under control, but is yet to be extinguished.
Police and ambulance officers are also on scene.
Initial report indicate all residents were accounted for.
