OWNERS of three Yarraman properties are facing the forced sale of their land by the Toowoomba Regional Council due to unpaid rates or charges on the land.
They make up some of the 41 properties from the Toowoomba region that will be auctioned on Friday, November 15 unless the owners pay their debt in full by 11am on November 15.
The owners were first notified their properties were at risk when the council released a preliminary list of 60 properties at risk of a forced sale in June when the council was owed $1.1 million in unpaid rates.
In the two months since the notification, 19 of the owners have cleared their debt.
The notice has been issued by Toowoomba Regional Council in accordance with Sections 96 and 239 of the Local Government Act 2009.
All auction details will be available on the Toowoomba Regional Council's website from October 18.
