CENTA Care has moved to Kingaroy Street and opened their office with a blessing.
The new office address is 203 Kingaroy Street.
Centa Care's executive director David Oliver travelled from Brisbane for the opening on Monday March 26 2018.
"Being in Mary Street we felt that we needed to be more of a presence in Kingaroy. We need community members to be aware of us and we what we offer. This location is much better and provides easier access for those who need our help,” Mr Oliver said.
"People can walk in here and chat about their problems. It's a safe environment. They can either talk openly in the front area. Or now with our new location we now have private offices where people can chat one on one.
"Now that we're in the town centre hopefully more people will come here when they're feeling vulnerable and need help.”
Mr Oliver said they brought in extra senior staff with the move.
"We're also making an effort to go out into the Kingaroy Community. We're talking at church and community events to make our presence known,” Mr Oliver said.
