An empty lot in Kingaroy will be be developed into three two-bedroom units, according to planning documents signed off by the South Burnett Regional Council.
The application, submitted by Urban Strategies Pty Ltd on behalf of Regional Housing Limited, for three two-bedroom units was approved on December 8, 2023.
According to the Regional Housing website, the company is a not-for-profit, which manages emergency, transitional and long term social housing throughout central and northern Queensland.
The single structure at 1 Kelvyn St will have three separate units each containing two bedrooms, one bathroom, a single car garage and open kitchen, dining and living areas.
Each unit will also contain an alfresco and an open carport (visitor parking).
A fence will also be constructed at the rear of the units for privacy at a maximum height of 1.8m.
No date has been announced for the start of construction.
