A woman was flown to hospital after a nasty motorcycle crash in the South Burnett at the weekend.

The woman, aged in her 40s, was riding on a private property on Manar Rd, Boondooma before crashing about noon Sunday.

Emergency services were called the property, north west of Kingaroy, and treated the woman for rib and shoulder injuries.

A rescue helicopter was also tasked to the scene and landed nearby.

The woman was flown to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
