SOLD! QLD’s cheapest land sells for price of a TV

The sale prices of Queensland’s cheapest blocks have been revealed, with one going for the same price as a big-screen TV.

Queensland is Australia’s hottest property right now, taking in more people from interstate than every other state combined, but there are still blocks of land going for cheap.

Last year, the Courier-Mail highlighted the seven cheapest blocks of land, from Ipswich, to Russell Island to Julia Creek.

These slots are now sold, with one going for the price of a TV.

“It is still going wild, we sold 70 last month and the month before but the thing is the stock, the less stock the higher the prices, it is really exploding,” he said.
