A four-vehicle crash on the Gateway Motorway has triggered extensive congestion this afternoon, with motorists warned of delays in excess of half an hour.

A four-vehicle crash has caused traffic delays for motorists heading into Brisbane’s south on Thursday afternoon.
Paramedics were called to the Gateway Motorway at Belmont where four cars had collided just before 4pm.

Six patients were being assessed for minor injuries.
Traffic delays along the southbound Gateway Motorway of up to 30 minutes remain after the crash from Eagle Farm to Murarrie.
