Single-storey home in Mt Gravatt damaged by fire
Five crews have battled to contain a fire to a property in Mt Gravatt after it burst into flames this morning.

A home has been damaged by fire in Brisbane’s south early Tuesday morning.
Emergency services were called to a structure fire at Mapleton St, Mt Gravatt East just before 4.45am.
On arrival, crews found a house well engulfed by flames.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said five crews quickly got into action to battle the blaze.
“All occupants for the home were accounted for,” a spokesman said.
“Crews arrived to a single-storey house well involved in flames, it potentially started at the rear of the building” he said.
The fire was extinguished at 5.45am.
Crews will remain at the scene and were dampening down and before conducting atmospheric testing as well as attempting to salvage items within the home.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said no patients were reported at the scene.
