A WOMAN has been seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash on the Pacific Motorway at Tarragindi earlier today.

Police are appealing for dashcam footage, or for any witnesses to come forward.

The incident occurred in the northbound lanes of the motorway near Marshall Rd about 11.15am.

Police say investigations suggest the silver Ford Focus (number plates 131 ZCM) lost control, striking a guardrail on the left-hand shoulder, causing the car to spin.

The woman, 24, from Chermside, was a passenger in the back of the car and was taken to the nearby Princess Alexandra Hospital.

The driver of the car, a 58-year-old Nerang man, was not injured.

The accident caused significant traffic delays.
