Searching for Rachel Antonio. Episode 2: Dear Diary

FOR a year before she vanished, Rachel Antonio kept a makeshift diary.

It was filled with things her parents knew nothing about, documenting her claims of an intense relationship with a handsome older lifeguard, Robert Hytch.

Hytch, who was also captain of the Bowen Surf Lifesaving Club, would become the main police suspect in Rachel’s disappearance.

The claims in Rachel’s diary and letters to an interstate friend have always been denied by Hytch.

Robert Hytch is interviewed by police following the disappearance of Rachel Antonio.
