A single vehicle rollover on the Carnarvon Highway at Wellesley on Tuesday afternoon left a woman in her 60s and her husband injured.
Emergency services were called to the scene about 2.21pm after the couple’s vehicle that was towing a caravan rolled.
“It is believed the woman was in the ute with her husband when the caravan the ute was towing fishtailed, the ute and caravan rolled over and the caravan then disconnected,” a LifeFlight spokesperson said.
The woman was flown to Roma Hospital with a minor head injury, while her husband was taken to Roma Hospital in an ambulance.
A Queensland police spokesman said the highway was reopened by 4.18pm.
The incident comes amid increasing support for training drivers towing caravans.
