A southwest Queensland midwife has taken her quest for love to the big screen, starring on season 14 of reality TV show Farmer Wants a Wife.
Ms Wilson, 28, was living and working in Roma and having little luck finding a partner when she applied for the popular Channel 7 program.
Ms Wilson was raised with her four siblings on a grazing property near Meandarra in southern Queensland.
She said she was truly a country girl at heart, and wanted to find a partner who also loved the land.
“The further out west you go, the friendlier the people get,” Ms Wilson said.
Overall, Ms Wilson said she enjoyed her experience.
“My experience was simultaneously the best and hardest experience of my life.”
With filming now wrapped, Ms Wilson said she was excited to get back to her job.
“I’m really passionate about providing healthcare to women rurally, and making sure they get the same experience and access to care.”
Season 14 of Farmer Wants a Wife is on Channel 7 four nights a week, so there’s still time to catch Anna on screen.
