Roma fire: Fire crews rush to reported structure blaze along McDowall Street
Several people were evacuated after a building fire erupted along one of Roma’s busiest streets.

Fire crews rushed to a building fire along a busy street in Roma this morning.
A Queensland Fire spokesman said crews were called to a structure fire along McDowall Street near Gregory Street at 9.55am Thursday.
The spokesman said crews saw smoke billowing from the ceiling of the building, and was believed to have started from an electrical fire.
Ergon crews isolated power from the structure, with all of the building’s occupants being evacuated.
The scene was made safe, and fireys have since left the incident.
Police and paramedics were also in attendance, however no one was assessed for any injuries.
