Emergency services have confirmed a man was seriously injured in a quad bike rollover on a rural property in the Maranoa region.

Paramedics, police and fire crews were called to the Tyrconnel property north of Mungallala on Mount Lonsdale Rd at 2.29pm on Monday.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said a man in his 60s was in a serious but stable condition after suffering serious injuries to his chest.

The Royal Flying Doctor Service arrived at the scene at 4.18pm.

A RFDS spokesman said the man suffered internal chest injuries after being trapped underneath the all-terrain vehicle.

“Our Charleville crew is picking him up from Mitchell soon where he’ll be taken to Charleville base before being on-transported to Toowoomba Hospital,” the spokesman said.
